Value of Farmers Almanacs prevails despite many weather apps and gadgets

As one who continues to rely on the Old Farmer’s Almanac – founded in 1792 – this article, The Surprising Success of America’s Oldest Living Magazine, in which the publication’s editor, Janice Stillman, states – “Farmer’s almanacs are essentially as old as dirt,” gave me some much needed hope about the resilience, value and constancy that makes this historical work truly relevant today – it focuses on “the natural world, the rhythm and glory of nature, the animal life, the plant life, the astronomical life, the weather …Weather is the most popular subject, it’s the reason [readers] use the almanac.” Reminder – Spring is on its way – https://www.almanac.com/content/first-day-spring-vernal-equinox
