#The1Llife Barrister’s Ball a How to Guide GUEST BLOG Makenzie Way, 1L at the University of Pennsylvania Law School               This event is timeless (at least for the majority of schools in America). Law school isn’t just sweatshirts and under eye bags; once a year (maybe more) we transform ourselves and hit the dance floor for a night of celebration with our fellow colleagues. What is barrister’s ball you might ask? Well think back to senior prom, now add in an open bar, a bunch of over-tired, overstressed law students, and you’ve discovered barrister’s ball. This event is timeless (at least for the majority of schools in America). For some it’s restricted to 3L’s, others allow all grades to join in – mine being one of the latter.
