Students sue school district alleging school district administrators violated their civil rights

A school district settled a lawsuit that alleged that school district administrators intentionally violated the civil rights of certain students.When the school district made a claim for indemnification pursuant to its insurance policy, the insurance company denied coverage contending the claims did not fall under the definition of either a covered "occurrence" or "loss" as those terms were defined in the insurance policies. The court disagreed, indicating that it is legally possible to find "accidental results" flowing from "intentional causes"  for the purposes of indemnification pursuant to the terms of an insurance policy and that there were questions of fact that had to be resolved as to the paying the school district's claim.
