Man Suffers Stroke, Medevaced from Norwegian Breakaway

No one ever expects to find themselves in a health emergency at sea. However, for many, this is exactly what happens when their condition exceeds what is possible to be treated in a cruise ship infirmary. This week, a 76-year-old man suffered a stroke and possible internal bleeding while aboard the Norwegian Breakaway. He was medevaced to a hospital on shore, where his current condition is unknown.
