Presenting… Food From the Bar with the Alameda County Community Food Bank! “Every May, law firms and members of the legal community come together for a friendly competition—Food From The Bar—to help end summer hunger for children in Alameda County. Food From The Bar comes at a critical time. Families who receive free and reduced-price meals at school are faced with a meal gap once school is out. Your participation directly supports local families facing hunger—this summer and year-round.” This year, the Food Bank has an important goal to reach: raise enough to provide 60,000 meals. As part of our ongoing Social Responsibility & Volunteering program, today we at Everlaw dressed to impress! For every person dressed in formal attire, Everlaw donated $25 to the food bank.
