Doing Business in India – New York In-House Counsel Meetup (September 22, 2011, NYC, CLE Pending)

Another interesting presentation from the New York In-House Counsel Meetup – something that in-house counsel should consider attending if their companies are doing business in India: An ever increasingly important market, India can be an especially challenging part of the world in which to do business. Successfully advising clients who do so requires knowledge of specific ethical issues and key cultural nuances. This presentation will touch upon some of the issues and challenges companies and their counsel frequently encounter when working with India-based businesses. Our speaker, Jaspreet Singh is a partner at the law firm of Bench Cooper Singh LLP, and has extensive experience counseling clients who do business in India and elsewhere around the world. For CLE compliance purposes, call breaks/meals must be separate from program content. Drinks and refreshments will be available from 6:30-7:00pm. The CLE portion will start at 7:00 and end at 8:00pm. Approval is pending for .5 hours of Professional Practice credit and .5 hours of Ethics credit. Thank you in advance to Bench Cooper Singh LLP for what promises to be an informative presentation on a topic of ever increasing importance and interest. [via Doing Business in India] Like this post?
