Coast Guard Medevacs Passenger from the Silver Cloud

The U.S. Coast Guard in Cape Cod medevaced a critically ill passenger fom the Silver Muse cruise ship yesterday morning (Thursday, April 26, 2018). The Silversea cruise ship was approximately 80 miles from Nantucket at the time of the medevac. The Silver Muse ship notified the Coast Guard arounf 9:30 A.M. that a 76 year old man was experiencing paraysis and needed emergency treatment ashore.  The Coast Guard helicopter arrived at the cruise ship around  11:54 A.M. and transported the passnger to Cape Cod Hospital.   Video credit: Air Station Cape Cod via Defense Visual Information Distribution Service (DVIDS)
