Another high-asset celebrity divorce story is in the news. Kelsey Grammer and his third wife, Camille Grammer, recently filed for divorce after 13 years of marriage. According to the Los Angeles Times, Camille could be receiving $50 million in alimony. The news is unofficial and it is unclear whether the amount is the result of a negotiated divorce settlement. Reportedly the couple amassed a $100 million fortune during their marriage. They do not have a prenuptial agreement, so that amount could be split in half for the divorce. Camille, a star on the reality TV show, "Real Housewives of Beverly Hills," is accustomed to an upscale lifestyle, as anyone who has watched the show can see. If she receives half of the fortune she obtained with her husband, she will likely be able to continue with her current lifestyle. According to sources quoted by the Los Angeles Times, the couple made their money mostly in real estate, an endeavor that was "pioneered" by Camille. Grammer is already engaged to his future fourth wife, Kayte Walsh. He says that he and Walsh are in love and do not want to "postpone our happiness" any longer.
