2-year-old girl dies after unsecured mirror at Payless store falls on her

ATLANTA (March 5, 2018) – A 2-year-old girl died Friday night after a mirror fell onto her at a Payless ShoeSource store in Riverdale. Georgia. According to FOX News, Ifrah Siddique was inside the store with her family around 8 p.m. when the full-length mirror -which was apparently unsecured – fell on top of her. The toddler was trying on shoes with her mother before the incident. A family member told the Washington Post Siddique had massive internal bleeding and had lost a lot of blood by the time paramedics arrived. She was rushed to a local hospital where she later died. A woman who works at the store next to Payless reported hearing a loud crash and then a woman screaming. Payless released a statement after the incident, saying: Our deepest sympathies go out to the family of Ifrah Siddique during this time of incredible loss.
