2 Texas Residents Killed in New Mexico Crash

Two Texas residents are dead as a result of a two-vehicle collision in Lea County, New Mexico. Details of the Lea County Collision According to NBC-DFW, 33-year-old Patricio Montano Ponce, of Buffalo, Texas, and 41-year-old Rafael Arturo Lincoln, of Fort Worth, were declared dead at the scene of a head-on collision on State Route 128, between Loving and Jal, New Mexico. Another man, an unidentified 27-year-old from Carlsbad, New Mexico, was airlifted from the scene. The extent of his injuries was not immediately available. State Police do not believe alcohol was a factor in the fatal crash. The incident remains under investigation.
