What Prenups Have To Do with the Prince Harry and Meghan Markle Wedding of the Year

Grab your fascinator, clot the cream, and set your alarm clock – there’s a royal wedding on the horizon!  Celebrity weddings are always fodder for rumors and gossip and Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s upcoming nuptials are no exception. One popular common heading is some version of “Meghan Markle Not Expected to Sign a Prenuptial Agreement.” If this is indeed the case, it’s not a big surprise.  Though prenups are de rigueur for celebrities on this side of the pond — and a growing number of all Americans – prenups are relatively new in the UK.  Not having a prenup is standard practice for the royal family.  Prince William and Kate Middleton didn’t enter into one either.
