U.S. Senate Special Committee on Aging Seeks Input on Guardianship

The U.S. Senate Special Committee on Aging examines issues that are particularly relevant to the needs of older Americans.  Each year, the Committee studies and releases a bipartisan report on a specific issue of importance.  This year, the Committee’s report will focus on guardianship arrangements.Attached, please find a letter from Chairman Collins and Ranking Member Casey seeking your input on several questions related to guardianship arrangements.  The letter presents four questions for your feedback, but you are welcome to provide comments on other aspects of guardianship arrangements as well.  Please submit all written comments to the Special Committee on Aging via email at comment@aging.senate.gov as soon as possible, but no later than July 20, 2018.Please share the letter with other interested stakeholders.  Should you have any questions, please contact the Committee at 202-224-5364 or comment@aging.senate.gov.  We look forward to…
