A semi driver is alleged to have taken twice the amount prescribed dosage of an anti-anxiety medication before crashing into a school bus in Columbia County. Details of the Columbia County Trucking Accident According to the Journal Sentinel, 42-year-old Wayne Edward Murphy of Indianapolis is charged with five counts of injury by intoxicated use of a vehicle and five counts of second-degree reckless injury for a May 23 crash that left 20 people injured, four seriously. The HOPE Christian School bus was traveling through Columbia County from Milwaukee when it experienced mechanical problems. It parked on the shoulder of I-39 near DeForest where it was rear-ended by Murphy’s 18-wheeler. A criminal complaint states that Murphy told deputies that he took one-and-a-half Sertraline pills about two-and-a-half hours prior to the collision.
