Office of Personnel Management and responded to GLAD's motion for summary judgment. Pedersen is the multi-plaintiff challenge to Section 3 of the Defense of Marriage Act (DOMA) pending in the federal district court for the District of Connecticut. The legal briefs just filed, as well as all other court documents related to the case, are on GLAD's website. ——– The White House has weighed in on the anti-gay legislation proposed in North Carolina. Here's an article on Tuesday's sentencing: Teen gets five years for attack on transgender woman at McDonald's ——– On Wednesday, Ellen Degeneres devoted her monologue to the controversy surrounding Chaz Bono's upcoming appearance on Dancing with the Stars.
