Restrictions on Access to Medical Malpractice Data Bank

By Jim Lewis, Medical Malpractice Attorney My colleague Emily Mapp Brannon has posted a new blog on the Virginia Injuries website on new restrictions to a medical databank used for 25 years by insurers, medical boards and doctors. The removal of a public area in the National Practitioner Data Bank means it will be more difficult for members of the public to find out if a doctor has been the subject of a medical malpractice lawsuit.
