License at Risk for Too Many Points? What You Need to Know

In a best-case scenario, it’s just something you remember from Driver’s Education classes. Accumulate too many points, and you risk losing your license. Unfortunately, there’s also a chance it’s something you’re facing right now. First, the obvious. At the very least, your license can be suspended for too many points. Once you plead guilty to a moving violation—often by mail—or are convicted in traffic court, you own the points. Also, there are court-imposed fines.
