Lawyer Sentenced for Stealing Escrow Funds

Jason Eric Fischer, 40, Hudson, Wisconsin, was sentenced in federal court in Minneapolis, Minnesota, for stealing more than $3 million in a mortgage fraud scheme. Fischer was sentenced by United States District Court Judge Patrick J. Schiltz to 50 months in prison on one count of mail fraud and one count of money laundering.
