Jonathan I. Ezor Publishes Law Review Article on Improper Spam Block Listing

Jonathan I. Ezor, special counsel to The Lustigman Firm and an Assistant Professor of Law at Touro Law Center, recently published his article, Busting Blocks: Revisiting 47 U.S.C. § 230 to Address the Lack of Effective Legal Recourse for Wrongful Inclusion in Spam Filters, in the University of Richmond Journal of Law and Technology (JOLT). The article describes how individuals and companies that have been improperly added to spam block lists such as Spamhaus may lack legal recourse if they cannot get themselves removed from the list, because of a broad immunity under current U.S. law. It also suggests changes to the law to help address the situation. The article may be downloaded here.
