Announcement after the jump: Marketing Business Law Faculty Positions, Tenure Track (2) La Salle University's School of Business invites applicants for full-time, academically qualified tenure track 9 month positions. This is an opportunity to join a dynamic AACSB accredited School of Business. These positions will play a vital role in course and program development and in university social justice and ethics initiatives. These new faculty will be working across all departments to enhance preparing students to understand the legal issues they may face in their careers. A key aspect of our mission is constructive engagement and involvement with students and their professional and personal development. The fit with this mission is critical to success in the positions. Responsibilities include: • Teaching undergraduate and MBA courses with legal, ethical and related business topics, with a typical teaching load of 3 courses per semester • Advising undergraduate majors • Creating new course offerings and improving existing offerings • Maintain a publication and research record consistent with AACSB accreditation standards for academically qualified personnel • Participate in School of Business and university service work • Organize and act as faculty advisor to student professional groups Candidate qualifications: • Law degree from accredited institution • Current and active licenses to practice law • Prior teaching experience at the university level • Corporate and related business experience • Involvement in professional organizations • Demonstrated record of publishing in appropriate academic outlets and promise of continued publications • Possession of an MBA degree from an AACSB accredited institution is a plus La Salle University is a Roman Catholic university in the tradition of the De La Salle Christian Brothers and welcomes applicants from all backgrounds who can contribute to our unique educational mission.
