Harry Ransom Center Now Accepting Applications For 2019/2020 Research Fellowships @ransomcenter

The Harry Ransom Center at The University of Texas at Austin invites applications for its 2019­-2020 research fellowships. Ten dissertation fellowships and up to 50 postdoctoral fellowships will be awarded for projects that require substantial on-site use of its collections.  The fellowships support research in all areas of the humanities, including literature, photography, film, art, the performing arts, music, and cultural history.   The Center’s film collections include the papers of producers David O. Selznick and Lewis Allen, director Nicholas Ray, actors Gloria Swanson, Robert De Niro, and Eli Wallach, screenwriters Ernest Lehman and Paul Schrader, acting teacher Stella Adler, special effects master Norman Dawn, and the Interstate Theatre Circuit, the Mad Men archive, among others.
