Well, not the sort you're usually excited about seeing on this blog. Today the Governor appointed three people to the CCAP — the Cannabis Control Appeals Panel!Sabrina D. Ashjian, 39, of Fresno, has been appointed to the Cannabis Control Appeals Panel. Ashjian has been a deputy district attorney at the Fresno County District Attorney's Office in the Consumer Fraud and Environmental Protection Unit since 2015. Diandra Bremond, 29, of Los Angeles, has been appointed to the Cannabis Control Appeals Panel. Bremond has been an adjunct lecturer at the University of Southern California School of Social Work since 2018 and director of trauma-informed youth development at the Los Angeles Brotherhood Crusade since 2012.Adrian Carpenter, 35, of Plumas Lake, has been appointed to the Cannabis Control Appeals Panel. Carpenter has been a deputy legal affairs secretary in the Office of Governor Edmund G. Brown Jr. and adjunct faculty at Cosumnes River College since 2017.
