Florida Vehicle Liability Insurance

Unlike most states, Florida does not require that car owners carry minimum liability insurance. Many states have laws that drivers should have at least $25,000 for one person’s injury or death and $50,000 for multiple injuries or deaths. All car owners should have liability insurance – even if Florida law doesn’t require it. Just one night in a hospital can cost more than $50,000.
