Florida Man Found Guilty of DUI Manslaughter

A Florida Panhandle man has been sentenced to 13 years in prison for a DUI crash that left two people dead. A Walton County judge sentenced John Doe on Thursday. He pleaded no contest last month the DUI manslaughter. Authorities say Doe was intoxicated and fleeing deputies when he crashed in February 2010. He lost control on a curve and hit a tree, killing passengers Beronica Thrash and Tarris Johnson. Doe's blood alcohol content was 0.24 percent. Florida law considers a driver impaired at 0.08.
