On 14 May 2018, the European Insurance and Occupational Health Authority (EIOPA) launched the fourth EU-wide stress test. These stress tests seek to assess the vulnerabilities of the European insurance sector. The different stress scenarios encompass a combination of market and insurance specific risks as well as the exposure to cyber risk. 42 different European insurance groups will be participating in this fourth test.
