Document: Attorney General Barr's Status Update to Congress

On Friday, Attorney General Bill Barr sent a letter to House Judiciary Committee Chairman Jerrold Nadler (D-N.Y.) and Senate Judiciary Commitee Chairman Lindsay Graham (R-S.C.) responding to their earlier inquiries regarding Barr's Mar. 24 letter on the Mueller report's conclusions. In Friday's letter, Barr said he expects to transmit a redacted version of the nearly-400 page document to Congress and the public "by mid-April, if not sooner." Barr additionally took issue with characterizations of his Mar. 24 letter as a "summary," and agreed to testify before both committees after the report's public release. The letter is available in full here and below.     March 29 Barr Letter (PDF)March 29 Barr Letter (Text)
