BoE announces launch of public register for UK money markets code

On 17 September 2018, the Bank of England published a press release announcing the launch of the public register (the Register) for the UK money markets code (the Code). The Code is a voluntary code setting out the standards expected from actors in the deposit, repo and securities lending markets – published in April 2017. The Register will be maintained by the UK Money Markets Code Sub-Committee, which is also responsible for ensuring the continued relevance of the Code as markets evolve. Institutions can contact the Bank of England if they wish to have their statements of commitment displayed on the Register.
